A super Victorian walnut and marquetry inlaid davenport desk with a green leather writing surface. The right hand side of the desk has 4 drawers and to the left side there are 4 dummy drawers, all with face turned wooden knobs. Behind the writing surface there is a lift up lid enclosing letter racks and a pen tray. The desk stands on ball feet. c1837-1901 Approx 52cm wide x 40.5cm high x 44.5cm deep

Victorian Ladies Writing Bureau. Designed from the Sheraton Catalogue. Marquetry inlaid with satinwood cross banded edges. The front falls to reveal two pigeon holes over 2 drawers in the centre and 2 large pigeon holes on either side. 3 graduating drawers. Stands on bracket feet. 1837 - 1901 Approximately 95cm (37½") high x 57cm (22½") wide x 46cm (18") deep.
