ART DECO DROP LEAF DINING TABLE

An impressive Art Deco gateleg dining table of attractive and rare form and is made from Sapele wood from tropical Africa.
The top has shaped edges and is supported by cross-banded stretchers and can seat between 4 to 6 when fully extended.
Approximately 30" (76 cm) wide x 30½" (77.5 cm) high.  Closed 12" (30.5 cm) deep.  Fully open 62" (157.5 cm) deep.
(Each drop leaf measures 25" (63.5 cm) deep.
EDWARDIAN SUTHERLAND TABLE

Edwardian mahogany Sutherland Table (named for Harriet, Duchess of Sutherland (1806 to 1868).  
The folding when closed is so narrow that it can bestood against a wall without taking up much space.  It has the splay legs, galleried sides and a plain undershelf.  The top is made of solid mahogany and has squared canter corners with swingout legs which are fitted with the original brass castors and ceramic wheels.  Very practical for small rooms.       c1901-1910

Regency concave shaped Teapoy with a sarcophagus lid  in mahogany,interior is red velvet lined with four fitted glass canisters and two glass mixing bowls.  
Raised on a tapered column with a guadform base and gadroon feet, working lock and key.     c1825.

LATE VICTORIAN ROLL TOP DESK WITH LOCKING TAMBOUR FRONT

Pedestal drawers which automatically lock when the top is closed.
Interior is fitted with small pigeon holes,  drawers and secret compartments.  Two pull out elbow slides above the pedestal drawers.
Working lock and keys.  Entirely English Make H.L.L.  The desktop has been constructed from good quality Englsh oak and the exterior of the desk features inset oak panels.

Edwardian style mahogany revolving bookcase.
Two tier shelves with vertical slats.  The bookcase can be spun around for easy access to all your favourite books and castors allows it to be moved around easily.
A very clever way of displaying books in small room.     Mid 20th century.

GEORGIAN OAK BUREAU

This is a rare and distinctive Georgian oak bureau.  
It has two short drawers (with a false drawer between the two) and 3 x long gradutating drawers with brass swan-neck handles.
It stands on bracket feet.  (The interior of the bottom drawer has been replaced but the original carcas is still in tact.)
The front falls opens to reveal a very charming fitted interior with an arrangement of 6 x pigeon hole compartments over 6 x curved drawers and a central cupboard.  
There are two secret compartments, a small drawer over one of the pigeon holes and one of the side panels next to the door pulls out.   Below the door is a spacious concealed well with a covering slide.  The locks on the door and on the front fall are in working order with keys.     C1720

Two over three graduating drawers with brass swan handles and escrutcheons.
The original wooden round handles have been replaced by the brass swan handles which in my opinion makes it more exquisite piece.
 A lovely piece of furniture.

 Victorian mahogany oval shaped tip top loo table with moulded bevelled edge over a plain frieze with lipped lower edge.  
Tilt mechanism with original bolts and locking catch, the table sits on a  base of four carved cabriole legs on castors.  
Loo table is a table model from the 18th and 19th centuries, originally designed for the card game loo, which was also known as lanterloo.

A super Victorian walnut and marquetry inlaid davenport desk with a green  leather writing surface.
The right hand side of the desk has 4 drawers and to the left side there are 4 dummy drawers, all with face turned wooden knobs.
Behind the writing surface there is a lift up lid enclosing letter racks and a pen tray. The desk stands on ball feet.     c1837-1901

VICTORIAN SEWING TABLE

This unique Victorian Sewing Table dates to around 1850's.  
It has a rectangular top, small drawer which opens to reveal a compartment for sewing/game pieces.  
A pin secures the two together and a key locks both together.  The table is supported on a turned centre column with a shaped base and original castors.  
This was purchased in 2010 from Tennants by a Mr.C. Wilson of Leeds at a cost of £305.83    Mid Victorian

EDWARDIAN CAKE STAND
