TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All items sold by us are fit for purpose but will show signs of wear and tear which is to be expected when you buy Antique/Vintage/or second hand items. Dents/scratches/worm holes or blemishes are not a reason to return an item.
We have taken every care to describe the items as accurately as possible but the onus is on the customer to satisfy themselves with regard condition etc.
All measurements when given are approximate.
Some of the antique furniture in our store may have been repaired and restored. Some Antique furniture will have had a visit from the woodworm beetle at some time in its past, the holes are the Beetles leaving the piece of furniture. We treat all our furniture for pest and disease upon arrival in the store.
All larger pieces in our store are listed with the cost of delivery as an extra. We have a small list of independent delivery men that we have used in the past and we are happy to email you their telephone number. We do not guarantee their services and the onus is on you to clarify their terms, conditions and prices.
Please note that items for collection are held for 2 weeks unless prior arrangements have been made. Furniture items are held in store and 24 hours' notice maybe required to retrieve them for collection. Items may incur a storage charge after 14 days (approx. £25 per week) where no arrangement is in place. We make reasonable effort to accommodate our customers in collecting their purchases. If items are not collected within a six-week period they will be returned to sale.
We accept no responsibility for Furniture/Glass/Mirrors/Marble tops once they have left our store.
Clocks - to ensure a competitive price our clocks have not been serviced and are not guaranteed, unless
otherwise stated. We always recommend they are serviced regularly.
We try to ensure that descriptions are accurate. Please remember that antique, vintage and collectable items will show signs of their age and can be difficult to date. We want your purchase to be a pleasurable experience but if you are not happy for any reason please let us know. We will do our utmost to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
Any returned items must be sent back within 7 days of receipt in exactly the same condition that it left us.
It is best that you obtain proof of delivery when returning goods as we will not refund on items lost or damaged in the post. We do not refund any postage costs.
Collection is also available from our store and any item purchased or collected from our store is non-returnable as you (the customer) will have had the opportunity of checking the item before purchasing.
We encourage customers to contact us to ask questions or to view different photos than the ones on our website in relations to a piece of stock before you buy.
